Connie K. Wang, OD

Dr. Connie Wang completed both her Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California, Berkeley. She has been in practice for twenty-some years. Dr. Wang specializes in contact lens, geriatric and pediatric optometry. She is certified in Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (TPA) and Refactive Surgery (LASIK) Co-Management. Dr. Wang is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and the Alameda-Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society.
\tOutside of work, Dr. Wang loves classical music, travel, and cooking. She is a mother of three children, two daughters and a son. She enjoys involving herself with her son's Boy Scout and Church Bells choir activities. She is bilingual and speaks fluent Mandarin.

Allison Cho, OD

Dr. Allison Cho completed both her Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor's degree in Molecular & Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She received additional advanced training and ocular disease experience during a residency in Primary Eye Care at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center. During her optometric education, Dr. Cho received the Alcon Excellence Award and was recognized with the Leadership and Community Service Academic Award for two consecutive years. She is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, Alameda-Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society, and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Cho's professional interests include primary eye care - including pediatric and geriatric exams, fitting contact lenses, and management of eye diseases such as macular degeneration and glaucoma. She values community outreach and had the opportunity to provide vision screenings to the underprivileged on a trip to Mexico with the Lions Club. In her spare time, Dr. Cho enjoys traveling, playing piano, and photography.

Yong Chen

Mr. Chen is our office manager and head optician. He manages the optical portion of our office. He has a B.S., M.S., and PhD in Chemistry. He is very skilled with repairs, adjustments and dispensing of eyeglasses. In his spare time, he enjoys to play tennis, golf, and watch sporting events.

Our Friendly Staff

Yvonne is our A.B.O. licensed optician; she has been working with Dr. Wang for over three years now. She obtained her B.S in Chemistry and B.A. in Music from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006. She is very experienced with helping our patients with frame selection as well as contact lens training. In addition, she is excellent with frame adjustment and repair. Besides working in our office as a full time optician, she also teaches piano in her spare time.

Emily is our optometric intern. She received her B.A. in Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley and is a current student at the U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry. She joined the office as an undergraduate about two years ago. She enjoys her hands-on experience in the optometric field, especially with assisting patients with pre-testing, eyewear dispensing and frame selection. Besides optometry, Emily enjoys attending Cal football games, attending concerts and snowboarding.
